Honestly I'm not 100% sure what you're trying to ask, feel free to spend a bit more time fleshing out the problem so that we can help you better.
However,
if you are trying to assign a hair system to curves, I.E. 'Assign system to curves', and it is giving you the error about attaching them to polygons, then you should know that it must be an "established" hair system, already in place, before you can hit assign to curves.
The simple work around is this:
- Create a small polygon box out of the way of your scene.
- Select 1 or more face on that polygon box.
- go to nhair, create hair, and then create a new hair system. This will attach that hair system to the polygons you selected.
- Select the curves you want to use for hair.
- Assign system to curves.
It should now let you, and you'll be able to edit the hair system like any other system.
Hi, I am trying to get the hair folicles attached to polygon faces but i'm having some problems. When i create hair for some reason the folicles are placed in the center on the head as you can see from the attached image. Any idea how to fix this. On other characters this technique worked fine.Screen Shot 2015-11-28 at 12.54.55.png
