Substance Designer is finally up on
Steam right there! Thanks to everyone who voted for us on Greenlight.

The Steam version comes with a Substance template for creating assets for
Dota 2. Remember the
Dota 2 Texture Guide from Valve ?
We took every step of the process and converted the whole thing to a single Substance graph. No need to bake maps in XNormal or Maya anymore, you can do it all in a few seconds in Substance.
And thanks to our fellow Polycounters
Drew++ and
Ace-Angel, the Substance viewport now features a Dota 2 shader, allowing you to preview your textures in real time on your character.

quick guide to help you make the best use of the template and save time on tedious stuff to concentrate on your painting.
