Polycount problems

Hi everyone i didn't really know where to post this so if this isn't the correct place for this topic anyone is free to move it :)

so I'm working on this character

I'm done with the sculpting and Uv Mapping, but now I've reached a wall. I want to rig it for animation, but the models polycount right now is over 200k. I don't have Topogun, and decimation master is useless for this project (no tris). Maya's reduce tool "works" but only at 43% which reduces the polycount by only 50k. Any suggestions for a newb? Thanks :)
