The Cider Well

Here's a little something i've been working on the last few days. It's been a while since I have done any hand-painted texture work, so I wanted a nice little project to help me get back in the swing of things. If only these Well's existed eh?! :poly124:

I'd say you did an excellent job there sir. Love the overblown lighting, gives on a 'middle of the yard' feel to it.

I can't help but see Ciper :P Other than that, great work! I love the vividness of the colors without them feeling too over-saturated. :)

A minor point, but the rope coils shouldn't be perfectly vertical - offset them to one side by (roughly) the width of the rope and it will look like a continuous coil, rather than a series of rings.

I'd also move the handle on the wheel towards the edge a bit to provide a bit more torque.

The bucket is rather large compared to the size of the well - its radius is almost as large as the hole in the well.

Having the bucket hanging directly over the hole is unnatural - unless there is a locking mechanism, the bucket would just descend into the well. A more natural scene would place the bucket on the edge of the well, probably with a bit of slack in the rope.
