Polycount Sketch Thread - Modeling Project

I've decided to start modeling various things from the sketch thread as a project to hopefully improve my modeling skills in a fun way with a lot of variation. I'm planning on modeling characters, props, and mini-environments. Here's the first, basically a warm-up.

About finished with the high poly. I'm hoping to finish up the lowpoly/textures tomorrow.

Here's an update, sorry about the delay. I've been on vacation for awhile.

7450 tris
2048x2048 diffuse and normals. The diffuse is still early on too. I might shrink the resolution down to 1024x1024, but not sure yet. No spec at the moment.

Here's an update on the textures, also now with a spec (still needs a little tweaking). Needs polishing up now.

Tweaked the textures some and put him into Sketchfab. Next up I'm going to be making a base, the goombas, posing, and then done!
