A sad day in the gaming industry

just saw an article on the Flipboard app on my phone earlier that was very saddening to me
Unfortunately and very sadly Scott Reisse the Oculus VR co-founder was killed in a hit and run today in Santa Ana California.
According to the ABC report "he was crossing the street when a driver supposedly fleeing from the scene of a shooting ran a red light and hit him. for a life to end is always depressing, for it to be one of our own was crushing. for that life to end just as years of work on an incredible project began to bear it's fruit is nothing short of tragedy"
he was the co-founder of the Oculus VR team and worked on the scaleform platform also which is used in hundreds of games by millions of players. least to say his impact on the gaming industry has been profound for both me and many others....
all our thoughts and wishes should be with his family and friends....
such a sad loss.
