Old Work for Dungeon Hunter back in 09 or 2010. I found them while cleaning the Backup HDD, I figure before deleting them, might aswell post them. You can see some of the flats on cghub, http://benregimbal.cghub.com/ I would upload them, but ive long forgotten my website information ^_^
The flat are 512x512 each, and for polycount, well I cant remember
For people looking for a time break down freelance wise :
I remember this project was in a hurry and i was already on a full schedule for my other clients. I set up my schedule like a lawyer.
This client was schedule from 1pm to 3pm everyday For Design and Modeling So the client have time to approved the work
And the next day from 5:30am to 8am it was UV and Texture So that the work is in the client inbox as they day start.
I would juggle 3-5 different client and project daily , with the different timezone and deadline i had to be strict schedule wise.
Wow these are very nice. Ben I sure hope you are not cheap for those timelines because I worry that it sets some very unrealistic expectations for companies in the industry.
I would expect at least a full week or 2 for some of these creatures. I hope you charge them for such speed because that is a very high value skill to pull off in such short timelines.
You can have it fast, You can have it Cheap, You can have it Good, Choice 2 of them. You cant have all 3
So I expect you to be fast and Good but not cheap.
Here is my question to you. How much time would you prefer for such tasks in a more realistic timeline?
Little bit reluctant to crit as your skills greatly surpass mine, but the only thing I would say is the black skull dude in the robe (4th pic down) probably could use a bit more contrast in the face as its a little dark and hard to read, although could just be my monitor Apart from that they look fantastic!
Skiffy: ^_^ My prices always depend of who the client is, if its one of my regular, a new client, My level of interest, the work style/work amount... Im expensive when im really busy, less so if you are one of my regular or if the work really interest me.
Time wise, Well you know if i enjoy the work, the more time the better, if I can polish something its Great, but you know how it is, even if this client as a very loose deadline, i still have other client who need stuff Right away. but idealy, just having a full day on 1 piece would be sooo nice ^_^ Hving to do multiples different style a day is a killer
Thanks everybody ( except Per, cause u know the eurotrash), Im glad you guys still like this kind of work nowdays.
Yeeesss new (old) B1ll work! These are great, man. Seeing the Art makes me wish I'd gotten to work on the project, but hearing about the required time restraints makes me want to go hide in a hole. Those are some seriously pro time management skills.
