Hello I was looking at the new Cintiq HD 22 touch and I have found that the prices are considerably different online ...
the Main store and Amazon features a price of 2300 Euros while I have found several retailers online to sell it for 1400 ... now I was looking the number code of the models and the one of retailers is DTK-2241 while the one on Wacom site is DTH-2200 does anyone knows the difference and why that big difference in prices?
Also if someone has or has tried , how's yourself finding it?

The Cintiqes are meant for art. They're going to have more features that can help this (more pressure sensitivity, pen tilt, hopefully more attention spent to the quality of colors that the screens can produce, , more buttons, etc). And since you mentioned the 22HD Touch, that particular model supports multi touch gestures (for an extra $500 vs the regular 22HD)
The DTUs are meant for other businesses that might need to write on their screens, without the focus on painting and sculpting (its futuristic, people want to write on their screens). It will have less pressure sensitivity, no need for pen tilt, the quality of the image doesn't need to be as important). Also the DTK2241 lacks touch, while the DTH2242 does not (but that costs 2200, which is more than a Cintq 22HD and closer to a 22HDTouch)

This is the DTK 2241. No mention of Touch capabilities at all. This is the DTH 2242. Touch capabilities are mentioned several times throughout the description.
Neither are referred to as cintiqs.
