Hello everyone, after some downtime from 3D art I've decided to try to tackle Zbrush a few days ago. Here are some of my first beginner attempts at anatomy. For some reason, the front render doesn't yield as much depth as I'd expect. Any suggestions or comments would be much appreciated.
Worked on the female torso a bit yesterday, today I took some time to try out some male anatomy. Note that some "renders" are not BPRs. Both models were made from scratch, the female one with ZSpheres and the male one in 3ds max, so I could prepare the topology for the face without the annoying reprojection issues.
Good start, make sure you have perspective turned on when sculpting. Also try to not get too caught up sculpting one area. Make sure you nail the proportion down before going so high in poly count to sculpt. Overall you're doing great, I think the mesh would be easier to control if you worked at lower subdiv to get your overall forms.

Very useful advice, thank you! I've been trying to do as you recommended, to go from the lower levels and slowly move up the chain and it did wonders for my workflow once I managed to fight the urge to subdivide once things start to look a bit messy do to insufficient geometry density.
I am currently working on analyzing various reference images in order to modify the proportions to be a little more up to spec, here's a bit of progress and a bit of a better idea to let people see the actual proportions in full:
I've also tried making him a little less wide in order to be a bit more natural:
