Hell yeah man. I'm really big into the heavy music scene and I know a few other Polycounters that are as well. I'd highly recommend checking out the new Incendiary album if you haven't already
@Sean/daphz, Incendiary are rad, you should definitely check out Dirty Money. London Hardcore although they've split
And yeeeee dat hate moshing/crowd killing hahaha
Not really hardcore but I was the vocalist of this band haha, I used to get so much youtube hate! lollll

I used to listen to nothing but Have Heart, Guns Up!, Down To Nothing, and Kids Like Us non-stop. Then that kind of turned into some more Pop-Punk bands(and Alternative?) like Man Overboard, Title Fight, Seahaven, and Balance and Composure. Lately it's mostly hip-hop and house/electric mixes.
@leleuxart - Awww yeah. I'm currently wearing my Have Heart hoodie and have a 6 foot Have Heart banner over my bed, haha (I'm edge myself) If you're getting more into pop punk I HIGHLY recommend checking out The Story So Far. I've had their newest album on repeat for weeks.
@Luke - Being over in the UK, have you ever gotten into bands like Brutality Will Prevail and Last Witness?
So who's digging the new Strife album? I love it when bands break up, reunite 10 years later, and their new releases sound exactly like I so fondly remembered them from back when
Ahh, for a return of the mid-90's, early 00's scene..
Since I'm technically an old man now, most of the hardcore I listen to is stuff from back in the day. "Real" hardcore, with breakdowns, sing-a-longs, emphasis on live shows and (mostly) some form of social message

Musics changed a lot here in the UK though, it seems no matter what genre the music is its still heavy in a way haha.
