I like the way it came out, but for the first image, I would show off an isoline display of the high poly mesh (it looks too messy with every line showing) and use a perspective view rather than an orthographic one to show how it looks more realistically.
Goodcall on the isoline render. Wasn't entirely sure what you meant when you said "isoline." Did some Googling a educated myself. Isoline render attached.
Also included an in-game shot of the 2 row version of the model.
How did you set up tesseract? I cant get it to start. I downloaded the last suerbraten and installed it in the tesseract directory but when I launch the .bat it can't find tesseract.exe
The Real Time Diffuse GI from the sun works pretty well (I would say a bit better than Cryengine's implementation) and it barely affects the framerate. This engine mod is awesome, thanks for the help.
How much of that is point lights, and how much of it pure GI? Mind if I share those pictures? How is the pipeline for custom art? I think I might use this if its got good shader support.
Aside from the light source lights (the wall fixture lights) there is only one point light in the lower area (the white tile floor) to brighten it up a bit.

Here are the highpoly models if you'd like to check them out.
I'm pretty new at this highpoly/sub-d stuff, so don't expect the best work. :P
Also the meshes haven't been subdivided/smoothed yet. I used TurboSmooth with 3 iterations in 3dsMax.

You would have to compile your own.
I could send you one if you like, 32bit or 64bit?
Yes please, or you could link me to instructions, whichever is easier for you.
I really want to see their Diffuse RealTime Sun GI.
Keep in mind none of the old Sauerbraten maps are really setup to work well with new lighting setup in Tesseract.
I extracted the files into their directories and launched it:
However, running the 64 bit and 32 bit .exe files gives this error:
Here is a properly setup package.
Place the contents of ../Sauerbraten/packages/
into the ../Tesseract/packages/ dir
Thanks

Here are some screenshots from a map I'm tinkering with in the engine.

Yeah feel free to share.
