Polycount can you fix embedding movies?

If anyone from Polycount is looking is there any chance you could add a movie embed button, much like this image.

I love this forum and its the only one I like to browse when i get a minute but it would make things much easier if it had a button.

It works fine, just make sure it's the raw youtube link, no crap except for the watch id, and no https

Sometimes you have to hack a YouTube address together. The "share" links that youtube puts out often don't work. I THINK* youtu.be doesn't get picked up by the pharser?

So this won't work:

http://youtu.be/GSwp6FsuR2g

but this will:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GSwp6FsuR2g

So take this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=

and combine it with the ID that youtube spits out

GSwp6FsuR2g

to get something that will embed.

But yes I agree it would be nice if the forums had an easier way to deal with videos.

you'd still have to obey to the link formatconventions even with the button unless they adjust the code to support any kind of youtube link.
But if they do that they might as well just adjust it in the current automatic system so there basically is no need for those separate buttons
unless you want to start working with the video id's but i find that even more of a hassle.

Also sometimes you'll have a https youtube link too . Drop the s to make the embed work in that case.
