Shadowstone Set - Critiques Requested

I recently created these two items as part of a set I'd like to continue in the future (probably after I finish up my classes for this semester). I have a couple things I already know I want to adjust when I return to the set, but I wanted to request some critiques here and see what else I need to add to my list of changes to make.
