This is my first contest! I'm here for the challenge and for the thrill of hopefuly building my first complete character, with rigging and stuff!
For the character concept, I'm thinking of working on a descendant of the infamous John Dee, the magician/astronomer/conman that lived and worked at the court of Elizabeth I. Some say that he was involved with the making of the Voynich Manuscript. Was that just another con, or did he pay the ultimate price for the lost knowledge he unearthed? up to the great-great-great-great-great-grandaughter to find out.

First topology starting point. I'm gonna go back and forth between Blender and 3d Coat for awhile and try to stay at this level of detail as much as I can.
I still don't have a concept sheet or anything like that. I'm still thinking about it while I finish my base mesh.
