HELP with Hypershader

Hi everyone, Im having monumental issues

Attachment not found.

The colour map assigns itself to transparency WTF

STEPS TAKEN

1 OPEN MAYA
2 OPEN HYPERSHADER
3 Create PHONG
4 Colour checkerbox -//file -//texture-A
5 :0 why is it turning transparent

if anyone can help solve this big thankyou...

Looks like your file has an alpha channel. Maya automatically detects alpha channels as transparency.

Be sure to save your image as a 24 bit file. A 32 bit file will save out any alpha channels.

You can just Right click the Transparency text and click 'Break Connection' if you want to keep the Alpha channel in the file.
