*When exporting animation, only select the bones.
*When exporting models, select the geo and the bones or just the geo
*Make sure that the skeleton you're animating is the same that your meshes are bound to.
*Make sure your LoDs are bound to the same skeleton.
Make sure that the names of the bones are consistent across model fbx's and animation fbx's (I had issues where I updated the animation with additional bones and forgot to re-export my models with the new bones)
Now my model is flipped by 90°... Just random bugs..
Make sure you're on the right coordinate system (x-up or y-up)
XForm messed evertything up
I'm not too familiar to exporting from max, so maybe somebody with more experience can weigh in on the up-axis issue here and what needs to be done to have it working correctly.
