Hey guys,
I'm trying to make a mountain road for a downhill racing game and I am having a problem when it comes to extruding the road along the spline. The problem is that it extrudes fine but that my road is not flat, it banks around the corners and dips left and right when I just want a flat road with the elevations that I put in the spline. I have been searching for a while and can’t seem to find a way to get it the way that I want; I have tried a few different other ways such as extruding the spline itself, using the Sweep modifier.
If anyone can help it would be much appreciated. Here is a link to a few screen shots to give a better idea on what my extrude is doing.

The first image is the spline in the front view,
Second image is the extrude and how it is turning out in sections of the road,
Third image is a top view of my spline.
Thanks.

-Draw it flat from your top viewport.
-turn on enable in render/viewport for your spline, change it to rectangular, give it some high interpolation, and adjust to be more "track like."
-At this point make sure to give it a little thickness to make selection easier
-convert this to editable poly, then use soft selection to manipulate the elevation, you can delete the "backside and ends" before you manipulate for easier adjustment.
I'm sure there's other ways.
I don't think i can use the first one because I don't have any "mountain" I'm just making the track.
For the second script when i used it, my 3ds lagged out and to end task it.
Ill give that a go Memory thanks.
If anyone has another way to make a Downhill mountain road I like to know, as i was just trying this to see if it worked since it doesn't take my time to generate it.
Thanks.
