I've been having issues with making prefabs and corrupting them.
I have prefabs set to there own UPK. The prefabs were set up in there own worlds, and not the world that they are being placed into.
Seems when I add a lot of prefabs to a level by cloning them or alt dragging them, and than I save the level without making any changes to the prefabs themselves.
After the save, I than exit out of udk and the prefab.upk wants to save automatically as if it detected a change in all of the prefabs that were placed in a level.
Sooo....I save the prefab.UPK than load udk and the level again.
The prefabs become changed somehow because of the save. It gives an error saying that some kismet nods are missing from the prefabs.
If I do not save the prefab UPK on exit. this does not happen.
Im not sure what the issue is here. but its really irritating. I have to make backups of the prefab.upk all the time.
I was wondering if any of you know what's going on here, or if there is a way to convert prefabs easily to Scripted actors.
