I'm after some texturing feedback on a locomotive I've built. I'm mostly after texture techniques which I could use to improve the texturing on the loco. I'm quite happy with the texturing on the exterior model, however in the cab model is looking very...Unrealistic. Something just isn't right and it's really bothering me. I've been building locos like this for sometime and I think texturing is something I really need to improve on.

I came here because I knew I could get some expert advice on this.

Sadly none of these locos were preserved when British Railways scraped them back in the 60s-50s so it's pretty much impossible to get reference images other then old black and white photos. A lot of the cab parts had to be based of a similar loco so it could be done. The other loco was also built by Gresley, the same designer who build the famous LNER A4 and A3 designs. One example being 'The Flying Scotsman'.
