Removing existing effect (Shadow Shaman) [Dota 2]

Hi, I'd like to remove this lightning effect on shadow shamans weapon, where do I have to search? thanks

Are we talking about the image itself or removing the effect from the model?

removing the whole effect, but it seems that its not possible atm. valve will do it if need. (thats what people are saying atm.)

You can probably do it just by removing the emitters from the model, but yeah better to remove the effect in the code.
