Looking for dedicated texture artists

Survivor Zero is a game that got a bit of attention on reddit back when it was first announced as being "the game everyone wanted" - a zombie survival sandbox with emphasis on cunning over killing; you have to think about what you do in order to survive a zombie apocalypse. The style of the game is realistic, and set in present-day (post-apocalypse) america. To get a better idea of what we're working on, check out our recent trailer [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fFLpVevlSPc"]Survivor Zero - Found Footage trailer[/ame]

and our website (click here). We've been working hard for over a year now and have a lot of 3D assets waiting to be unwrapped and textured, so we need motivated texture artists who will stick around and help us out.

A bit of background on the team: around 17 members, with a fair amount of us actively working on the games completion. We have a good spread of output over every department, but our texturers can't keep up with the load of our 3D artists. We're all in regular contact through a skype IM chat, which is the prefered method of communication if you were to join since it makes it easier to talk with everyone.

So we're looking for texture artists who:
  • are self-motivated
  • know how to unwrap and texture
  • can do decent work in a reasonable timeframe
  • can take constructive criticism
  • get along well with our group

No requirements on programs; use whatever you're comfortable with as long as you can deal with FBX files.

You'll be working with all sorts of stuff - indoor and outdoor props, first-person items, many varying environments, characters/zombies (as well as baking high-poly normalmaps), animals and anything else. If you can do any or all of the above, then send us a link to your portfolio to HiddenPandaGames@gmail.com and we'll get back to you ASAP!

Although Hidden Panda Games is a company, this is a volunteer project. If this project makes any money then it will be fairly distributed, but there is no guarantee of that happening and we'd prefer members who are dedicated to make a game rather than hoping for an eventual pay-out.

Thanks for taking an interest!
