hey cindy-you may find better luck if you used the image link rather than attaching. additionally, despite having very competitive assets in your site, you have chosen a fairly lackluster image. maybe try linking more of the images that showcase the different angles of the character.
Nice design I like it, I would suggest adding some AO to the underside of his jacket and such, but then again AO is my answer to everything so I dunno.
Also his dusty and ripped pants are cool, but none of his other clothing looks store bought, some dirt and stuff on his other stuff would look cool imo.
If you want to show off things, take the time and upload them on a proper image hosting website, nobody likes to click on thumbnails
Looks like good modeling and texturing, nothing really to criticize about except your presentation which is boring. I say this often, but try out different backgrounds it pays off. Also proper lighting wouldn't hurt. After all it ends on a picture in your portfolio, so the work doesn't stop after the mesh and the texture. Keep it up
Hi,Shrike,I didn't want to post thumbnails but there's always mistake when I uplaod images, sorry for the inconvenience.
And many thanks for your commets.
as shrike said....you should upload ur work in good image hosting site..as imgur...the girl looks pretty good but once again as shrike said..presentaion wise so boring ..u should get rid of the grid first.dont use black bg color...try marmoset for render...or any other engine...
nice stuff man really good modeling and texturing
but as they said ... your presentation is very poor . here is why .
1- first of all your pictures are small .. since your showcasing these images to other artists for crits . u should make a bigger pictures for us to be able to see all the little details and such .
2- dont upload your pictures as an attachment . find a proper image hosting site .
3- background and lightning needs more work .
also the company's name is misleading O.o
shouldn't it be silk road games ?
Her gloves really don't match the rest of her outfit in either color or material. The style is also a bit odd, but that would be less noticeable if they used complimentary colors to the dress; a shorter design (ending just past the wrist) that is possibly fingerless would be a better fit.
The open front does seem a bit tawdry, but that depends upon her 'profession' and the game's overall style.
The parts of the train that see frequent wear should be much shinier. Most notably, the inner rims of the wheels and the upper part of the tracks should be brighter than the surrounding metal. The piston rod should also be shiny, but I couldn't spot it in the image.
The cylinders of the front buffer look rather thick. The discoloration is odd; I'd expect either brighter metal or scratched paint - yours appears to be bronze with a bit of iron in the center.
I like it, I actually like everything you guys have put up, it feels pretty natural, and there is some obvious good texturing and modeling coming across. I feel like that grid background is really holding your images back though, its not really suited to the theme or quality of your work.

Keep up the good work
