not sayin' anything, just first time to see lotus motive sword here. normally lotus weapon impression giving me like girly type of magic staff... or chinese straight sword...those flexible looking one.... hmmm
I like the handles but the flower petal on the right sword could use a bit more definition. The wavy shapes on the left one seem a bit wonky, maybe it's just the camera angle but the lowest one seems to have very little volume compared to the top one for example.
I agree. I think I'll redo those shapes entirely and look at the petal. Good feedback, thanks!
It's to go with the Ember Spirit set on the previous page.
OWH! then that is very suitable , becaues at first i thought that lotus for dire-side demonic sytle hero... well recently i've been lurking around keep looking all WIPS i can find for the heroes i doing to avoid clashing the concept
The importer is still broken so I can't submit this yet, but consider this a "soft launch" of the project that I've been working on all year. (Yes, I know it's only 13 days, but it sounds more impressive this way!)
I'm still having one or two little issues with it, but it's ready to upload in time for the deadline!
Decided to push the detail a bit more. I have a bad habit of leaving things too plain in the name of stylization which I'm trying to combat. Onwards to texture painting!

Now to get back to the Ember Spirit set...
Done! Give me your thumbs!
@vlad: Interesting observation, if I get time before the deadline I might try some different eye colours or something.
Hell yes!!!! Great work!
Here's a Broodmother set that I did some animations for:
You should definitely upload the gifs man.
No need, I have you to do it.
I'm pretty proud of this guy, but he's getting a luke-warm reception on the workshop so go and give him some love!
I think I'll call him Bitey.
