Hi fellow Polycounters!
I am current doing a study of a statue in zbrush for a class at school. We got to choose a work that we would like to do, so I found and chose a statue of Sakamoto Ryoma a very famous person in Japan. There are quite a few different versions of the statue but I chose this one as what I was going to try to copy:

For are first pass we are required to do a blockout of the anatomy and pose as the reference is posed. I learned the hard way that I should pose my mesh first and then sculpt than the other way around. I lost about a day or two worth of sculpting because I didn't pose it first. I am still working on blocking out the anatomy and fixing the pose as I go.
Any critique I can get will really help, as I am not to confident yet in how it is looking.

I will try to update a little every day, and get some better detail shots uploaded as I go.
Thanks for your time.
