Acestra Inc - 3D Software Developer (Toronto, Canada)

Job Description:
The 3D development team at Arcestra designs and builds a 3D authoring platform that rapidly accelerates the creation of the 3D models. The core of the platform is the ability for 3D authors to create our unique 3D content very quickly with easy to use software. We are looking for someone with a strong 3D and Math background to join the development team who can help us solve complex problems, drive innovation and evolve our 3D authoring tools.

Experience:
Must have:
- 2-3 years work experience in 3D graphics or related field
- Strong understanding of software design and architecture
- Experience in the development of native client applications
- Fluency in C++
- Familiarity with the STL and the Boost library
- Familiarity OpenGL 3.0 and GLSL
- Experience programming user interfaces
- Thorough knowledge of 3D geometry
- Knowledge of linear algebra and computational geometry

Preferred:
- Experience with Qt toolkit
- Experience with GIT
- Real-time rendering, including shaders
- Realistic lighting/materials
- Non-photorealistic rendering
- Experience with Architectural software products
