The thing I like most is that all your items/work have a consistent visual style, something I've been trying to figure out for myself. Most likely an experience thing I guess.
A bit too "floaty" for my taste but still quite nice
BTW why are the purple-wing-thingies one-sided on the wards? They're quite signature and deserve more attention in my opinion.
Thanks much guys! Ty for the crit Vovo, we actually ended up cloning those planes so that they could be viewed from both sides, but I think we used an older version of the ward for the turnaround.
mmmm, the detail in the SK set seems a bit noisy and unfocused for me compared to your previous sets. The shape in-game comes out pretty nicely, though in the promos and all that you could probably do away with a lot of the shallow cuts for a cleaner look without sacrificing the interesting shape.
Thanks for the crits guys! katzeimsack, those are the same textures but the model used for the promo art was rendered in marmoset 2 and then heavily postproduced in PS, so that may be the reason they look notably different!
This and the last, SK, sets look similar in terms of how muddy and noisy at the same time. Parts detail blend into each other in terms of both bakes and color. This could have looked great for an FPS, though for an isometric stylized game such as DotA2, it doesn't work well. You went overboard basically and imo. Your Lich set was done nicely and I hope you use it as a base for future work.

Natalia, you should take this in consideration. Even tho I like your sculpts, I the same way, don't think they are Dota2 styled.

I on the otherhand think they're closer to grimdark Dota 2 style than the majority of cutesy wootsie/Kawaii/WoW styled stuff we see on the marketplace/being submitted. I want to see more of your style guys! Best wishes getting accepted on the marketplace!

Do not agree, i honestly think this Nyx is way superior in sculpt quality compared to the Lich. It really brings up the feeling of organic carapace and i love how small details mix in with bigger cleaner areas, i think that the final result is superb.
Only personal point, i would have used a bit less metallic tints colors all around...it kinda shine a lot. Beside that i love it.
This ia confusing. I Think that sets made by Lanister team put bar so high that everyone is expecting impossible. There is one must Nyx set in game rich now and I can express how much more I prefer this one Also Malloy said important thing. Dots was never sweet and cartoony. From time to time more adult set would not hurt.
This set was probably done by kit bashing, and reusing of parts in some extent, yes that could be true, but end result is what matters
Thanks for sharing your opinions, it's true that I tend to do more realistic stuff but that's just my personal taste, as I'm more comfortable doing realistic sets/couriers instead of more cartoony ones. I think both styles can perfectly coexist in Dota as long as they follow the general guidelines!
Also, today we uploaded a courier for MVP with a couple of color versions for the radiant/dire, feel free to check them out!

How about a Rubick in a Jedi robe with some blue/white mixed force effects inspired by Star Wars?
Here's an example : http://goo.gl/RvU753
And then you could add like this kind of weapon.

Keep up your great work and thanks for the submissions!
It also comes with a small promo video, nothing fancy

Looks like a Beast from Disney's Beauty and Beast!:) He's gonna Charge his Belle :poly136:
It really looks amazing. Can't wait to see the final result.

Started a SK set yesterday
Here's a little more progress on the sculpture as well as the bakes for the finished parts:
The texturing looks too realistic to fit the DOTA style.
Acutally looked at the ingame shots and they are great oO
Are the presentation and ingame textures the same?
