Hi Polycount!
We're a bit late to posting, but really excited to be participating in this contest. This is a team collaboration between myself and my sister, WildFire1187.
I'll be handling the environment part, while WildFire is going to be taking care of our characters.
Summary: A thief wanting to make more than just a little pocket change infiltrates a powerful wizards tower and attempts to steal a magical artifact from him. In his anger at catching her, he launches an attack at which she must escape from. But did she get 'her' artifact...?

So, once we had the general idea in mind, I started blocking out my environment pieces...
The walls are modular, rather than one long solid piece - the tower is actually in two pieces, with the main part separated from the roof.
The planned shots for the contest are one of an overall shot of the scene; then two closer up - One from the thief's view as she is trying to get away, and the other from the wizard while attacking / chasing.

So, assets (untextured) are in UDK, and terrain is sculpted...I played with a few angles for the beauty shots I wanted for the final result to see how the angle will look and such.
