Awesome sets man!!! Love the riki set.
The detail in Jugg's set is awesome, quality work. Maybe too much detail? I hope it reads okay in game, all that eye candy reduced to blur :S
I think blue might be pushing his colour palette too much? But eh, guess it's all done now! Love your work~
thanks bounch, its good to know someone likes the set, it kinda got lost in with all the other sets out there for this deadline, but oh well, it is what it is.
here you go Ti-Rex, them texture unwrapps, complete with textures

Thank you. It will be very useful for me to study the professional texture!
cottonwings: i pretty much just used the base lion skin as reference but i added more pink to some more fleshy areas, i also made the cavities a bit warmer over is all too, added a bit of pink to them, it sorta mimics SSS a bit.
BoomBap: the monstrosity of an arm that i have there doesnt have the full range of motion as a normal hand does, but there still is some, you can see a bit of it in that gif. The arm is rigged to this pointer finger so he still points when casting finger of death.
I see really great UVs here! If I understanding correctly, this horisontal and vertical parts, it's seams on model, right?
yeah. mostly. I kinda have a habit of straightening out the UVs where my seams are, in my brain i think it makes it easier to paint out the seams, sometimes ill even match up each seam vert along the U or V, so like the welded verts have the same position along the U or V, depending on the seam (if that makes sense, kinda hard to explain quickly)
I also straighten things that have a straight edge, where i can at least, its good for pixel pushing a nice sharp clean 1 or 2 pixel edge with no weird antialising.... 45 degree angles also work for that, but i usually do the 90 degree horizontal or vertical straight edges.
Sometimes its just a way to use up more of them pixels for better texel density, and make things easier to pack, as long as it doesn't get to distorted when i straighten out a part of it.
Man, I haven't been to this thread in
MONTHS, I'm pretty behind on updating this thread with my shit. But now that the mad dash to make sets
for the new Heros has begun, I figured I'd throw up what I had in
mind for an Undying set.
Apparently people already knew what
Heros were next since there are finished sets up on the workshop. But
I'm clueless, so all I've got is the start of a set.
It's just a low poly block-in in max.
the design will change some once I get into Z-Brush and iterate on
other ideas, BUT I think this is the general direction.

Allison Theus did the load screen for me, cus my brain sucks at making them.
Edit: i made some value and other little tweaks to the texture and updated the turntables here.
