Hello everybody. I am a student from Hertfordshire University, GB.

My concept is inspired in a little story in the ancient Greece. I need to add the character: a boy who went to military camp with 12 years as habitual in Sparta. They left him in the forest for five days to survive in his own as a challenge. But he finds the way to the camp and he is stealing food from his instructor to survive. jej

I will try to build an environment and a small landscape in UDK. It is the first time I use this programme so, let see.

I like the lighting and the mood of your concept! But you should nail down a focal point. Wherever you want the focus to be, gather the light or contrast there, lead the eye there with the other elements of your environment. Also, did you model out all those bricks? It might be more efficient to use a tiling texture there. And will you be using normal maps/handpainting or will all the fluting on your columns be actual geometry? That is quite tri-heavy!

yes, you are rigth, I didn´t put a focal point in the image. I will have to retouche it. And about the bricks, I thought that making some brick and building everything with those, copy and paste, would be faster; but I didn´t thought about the poligons. I must have to much and I will have problems importing to UDK. Thank you Jessica.
