Animation - Walk & Run Cycle

New to this forum so I'm wondering where animations go... but I can't see a specific place for them so I'm gonna put them here ><. Anyways I thought it'd be good to get feedback from a community so I'm here to do that xD.

I did some digging and found that people like .mov files to go through slides but I don't have quicktime pro so I could only playblast avi files... (will invest in qt pro)

The avi files are better framed and look cleaner, except they're a bit big in size.

    Always nice to see animators here =) Pay attention to the key poses in the walk, esp the orientation of the hips and shoulders. Atm your walk is quite wooden because the hips and shoulders are not moving correctly, this is pretty clear in the run as well. You have some funky head bob going on in both of them which needs smoothing out. You should take another look at the weight/timing of both animation as they are slightly off atm. (take alook at the animators survival guide if you havent already, explains it alot better than i can =) )

    Hmmm.. yeh I think I'll do that >.<, while learning animation and trying all sorts of things out, I kind of began basing my running the same way I do my walks. So I guess if I used a particular method for the walking, I'll do the same for the running lol... even if that method is wrong =.=

    With the head bobbing... the head controller is actually isolated so it smooths itself out. I just happen to have this idea that everything needs to move. I'll just leave it next time lol.

    I guess it's time to actually get around to looking into the survival guide~
