That's a cute little truck! Is Ringo a type of apple or something?
I was wondering, are you painting your textures in photoshop with the pencil tool or if you were using a different software?
Nice work, I don't have much pixel art experience but it feels like you could benefit from forming a better pallet of colours. Pixel art is generally defined heavily by the diffuse with not much lighting correction/overlay. Currently you have a pastel red pavement with a generic 255,0,0 red and 0,255,0 green. I recommend doing a diffuse colour pass to define your palette.
Think beyond generic colours and more about theme and high level direction of colour.
This website has a lot of examples of what I'm talking about.
I had a quick look at that website last night, I've added it to my bookmarks straight away! very good stuff, thank you! I think I might be going for a more pastel oriented palette

I didn't even know that word meant ringo haha! I think it means apple/apples in Japanese ... but I'm not sure
I won't be able to work on it for a bit since my family is visiting but I should have something more for Monday!
I'm thinking maybe I could keep adding to It and create a little city, some other vehicles and animate the whole thing ... it's just an Idea
And thank you guys for the comments !
