Dota 2 Courier - Elephant

Hey guys!

This is a Dota 2 courier I'm hoping to finish by summer...with some luck I can get him into the store! Just looking for some first impressions and critique.

Does it look like it could fit into the Dota world?

Looks great, I would suggest more work on the ears and the shield, currently the shield seems to be a little out of place on the elephant. The ears seem to be a lot bigger than what they should be, but im not a elephant specialist.

Ah ah, excellent, it totally fits into Dota IMO, just find the right colour palette and it will be fine !

@Josh his ears are that big because when he enters his flying mode (using his tail as a propeller) I want his ears to flop over his face:} But you're right I might have to tone them down a little.
@-Em- I can't wait to animate this fella haha

Having smaller ears may add a bit of comedy to the piece when it comes to animating. Having them flapping like mad while his tail is going a mile a minute should look quite amusing.

Update: Working on the diffuse map now, pretty much finished with the normal map.

Next Step is the Specular and shield diffuse.
