Hi guys,
I've recently produced some terrain via world machine, and exported it out as an OBJ to edit in zbrush. The only problem im facing is obviously I want it as a mesh and therefore its gonna need to be retopped... but how do I retop such mountainous sharp edged areas... Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
At the moment Ive created terrain via a heightmap and imported it into zbrush to make changes... I can now no longer export this as a heightmap/displacement as it doens't seem to want it; and when it does gives me results like the follows:
Uploaded with
ImageShack.us
So i ask, is it better to create terrain via a static mesh, and I simply retop the mesh ive created - however this would no longer allow me to make any changes or do i make it via heightmaps etc....
Cheers...
