Hi folks. First time posting here since the days of Quake2. LOL. A lot has happened since then, including my going back to school for 3D Animation. This is a little project that started an add-on to a soon to be revealed monster project. I ended up liking it so much that I removed it from the build as a stand alone piece and rendered it in VRay. I tried to mix a little Old School in to a more modern piece. Comments and critiques are welcome. Enjoy.

I like it, are the feather at the bottom of the arrow simple planes with alphas ? Or did you model the shape ?
How many tris ?
The feathers are shapes, not alphas. Sitting right now at 120k polys, fully turbosmoothed. This is rather high, I know, but it's meant to be hyper-realistic to go with the General Lee as a movie replica prop, so I didn't concern myself so much with polycount.
