Oh BTW he has eyes for nipples and his head is an upside-down foot. He's wearing a bunny slipper as a hat! I have affectionately named him Slipperhead.

Haha. No sir. But thanks for the compliment! I am in school as well- will be done in September. I don't think you've got much to worry about. Your stuff is so solid! I love seeing all these badass artists next to beginners it's awesome. And thanks again for the reply!

NEW PROJECT!!! I'm doing a DBZ redesign for fun, for a FB group... and for class!. Here's My progress so far!

Doing an original character that would (maybe) fit in the Street Fighter universe... because I'm obsessed with SF. The idea was to create a character that would have its own nationality, fighting style, gender, ethnicity, disposition (for the end quotes), and special moves. Hertes the concept:

Nice start on the project and the subject is right in your wheelhouse for sure. I like what you've done with the anatomy in the upper body and think the proportions are on the right track to capture that exaggerated Street Fighter look.

A few things that stand out to me:

-The transition from the quad to the knee is a bit awkward, I think there's too much volume on the interior.

-The feet seem too large. I know they need to balance out the large hands, but they are a bit too much in my opinion.

-The transition from the abs to the crotch is a bit too angular in profile.

-The booty could, perhaps, be a bit bigger.

-The head is terrible.

So this is what I did today. Just a WIP and I'm not really going for very realistic but I like to make it as close as possible then mess with the proportions just to see what I still find appealing. I like this guy so far. Critiques are always appreciated. THANKS! PEACE!

Wanted to try something new. Although I like my other guy he's just a bit too normal for me... Anywho this is based on my concept of Bebop from TMNT. This is about 2 days of progress. Will post more as progress continues.

Yes, I dig. Great sculpting on that first character. The face feels a little waxy in the close up, but reads pretty well in the full shot. Maybe tweaking the spec/gloss a bit depending on how he'll be seen.

Pants also feel a bit unfinished. I think like it needs a little more in the high frequency to communicate the fabric pattern (if you have the resolution for it). Also missing seem detail along the length of the pants.
