ESCAPE - Flight of Daphne - Team Magical Girl!
We are team Magical Girl, a group of five artists getting in a little late in the game with a piece based on Greek mythology, specifically the myth of Apollo and Daphne. In our piece, we will show a wood nymph being assailed by the sea, and chased into the arms of the sun god.
We are currently completing our concepting stage, and plan to have models finished within a week or so. Stylistically we will be leaning towards the fantastical, with exaggerated proportions and bright colors. It'll be a tight fit, but we're confident in our abilities.
