Art and Poster sites stealing work and selling?

Hey to all,

As the title says, certain sites of the 'Art' sale kind have been doing the round on certain people by stealing their work and selling it, just wanted to warn you peeps incase you or anyone you know, that might in Graphic Poster aspect of things.

In my opinion, the only fully effective solution is just get your labor paid (like a contract job) up front and release the work to the public domain. Then sell value-added services they can't copy. Raging at these people is unfortunately impotent. All you can do is change your business so that the bottom falls out of theirs.

It seems like the issue in this situation isn't that they got ripped off, but rather that some people are selling prints of artwork he did for a different client. This is straight up plagiarism.

In this case, art.com have bought the books that the designs were submitted to, they've torn out the perforated pages and have framed them up for reselling on their site.

I'm not even sure what that is?
