After 7 years modeling only props, building, roads and basic comical character and after fail several times modeling realistic Characters, I decided try again but in a open form to give my self more motivation and try harder this time.
Everytime I try it, I learn more things, I hope end with a good result.
Here is my map.
Trying to model a original face is not good right now for me because nobody know the real form of it, so Im trying to model the head of a actress, where i can receive more feedbacks of it.
I choose Olivia Wilde. Here my reference.
I modeled it in a classic form using Maya, not sculpting it.
The base form is a bit off, hope anyone can help me with some feedbacks.
The topology was pretty much a disaster, so i imported my model to Topogun and tried to fix topology but it became even worse
BTW, for topology reference, I used this. [I found it here, in Polycount Forum]
I Hope can receive some feedback with this.
thanks!

I think there's something a bit off with her cheeks in the third image of your re-topo, they are looking a bit hollow. By the looks of it Olivia Wilde has strong cheekbones and a defined jaw, but her jaw is looking a bit too narrow in your 45 degree views.
Here's a reference photo that might help a bit to fill in the gaps?
The area under her chin could be a bit more defined too, I think the vert under her bottom lip might need pulling in a tiny bit in the side view.
Keep at it, faces are hard.
i worked a bit more on it but still off
Other than that I feel the topology needs to be fixed in terms of edge flow, specially on the side of her head.
Good Luck,
Cheers!
Slowly become to looks more human!
