ESCAPE - Tanlines and Stilettos - Team Spark
Letting out a heavy sigh "Pilots journal, July 27th. Why are we doing this anymore? I remember stories my Gram used to tell me, stories of a time when war wasn't something to be celebrated, stories of a time when girls worried about tanlines and makeup, not whether or not the oil pressure was enough to sustain the sprint to the next objective. I'm starting to think she made it all up. I've grown up in this beast, I sleep here... This Stiletto is mine and mine alone, I don't think I'll ever have a place to call home. I need.... I need to ge-" (A harsh buzzing sound in the background can be heard.) indistinct chatter over a comlink "Uh, yeah... Okay I'll be right there" (The Buzzing cuts off abruptly.) "Prime weapons, we're moving. End Journal, Ariel out!" I'll escape, soon enough I'll get out of this merc bullshit.
