This is my second time around sculpting Thanos. Much better this time in my opinion. Need more practice sculpting characters though. I have been slacking for the last 2-3 weeks. Sleep taking over...must resist...need coffee.
Man I wish I cold post more stuff up. I have to make a commitment to do so....anyhow...Here's some stuff I been working on lately:
I wanted to sculpt an orc. That's pretty much the premise as to how this image came into fruition. This is a concept from EverQuest. I'd post the artist's name but I can't find it. I may come back to this and model the entire character from the concept.

This is a character I just started blocking in. The concept was created by Darron Smith.
This weekend I got back to Braxis and started blocking in the base meshes over the rough sculpt from the previous post. Still a bit of ways to go with that.
In between Braxis and a contest I was in, I found some time to get away from the pressure and model a toon like character. Some may remember him but I'm starting to notice a lot of people don't. Here's The Noid, Dominoes' old mascot.
more progress on Iris. I'm going to try and do a color pass later today to see how she reads. If i get to it then I'll post that up also. Crits welcome.
I started working on Iris's pose. I chose to build a rig in maya instead of using transpose master this time around. I find transpose master to be useful for small fixes and such. But I rather not use it for posing because it's so destructive. I'm fairly happy with her so far. I think there's a few things I need fix. more updates coming soon.
