Okay, so, i'm open to critiques just as long as there are suggestions/solutions or someway to tackle an issue with my model or approach to a model. My biggest obstacle in 3d software are technical issue such as when to use hard/soft edges, or more recently how the hell do i make textures,normals, and such in Zbrush. I've been lurking 3d forums for a while and previously posted work that i was stuck on hoping to get some help, with negative results or even no replies(leading to my lurking) My main programs are Maya and Zbrush.
so here goes...
having a bit of issue with the normal map i created. Mainly the main part of the hammer. not sure what I missed. I used projection master for all the detail of the hammer. as for the smaller detail. im going to go back and tweak with the settings.
on a side note. can't seem to get images to show up with the hyperlink.

I'm liking the results so far but i think i need to roughen up the mailbox logos and add more urban vandalism on to it.
