I'm looking for some books or other useful mediums of learning to help me with some technical design woes.
I came to the conclusion something was amiss when modeling a sci-fi wall.
I started doing the same shit as i usually do, i want to be more creative with my design aspects.
I was looking at the Skillful Huntsman, Looks like its just an art book though.
Can anyone recommend me some books to grab?
Cheers

Probably a good place to start. Are you looking for inspiration, or technical breakdowns?
Probably why i havent purchased the Skillful Huntsman yet, looks more of an art book.
But cheers for the link i'm having a gander as we speak.
Along my searching, i stumbled upon this little section of conceptart.org for anyone else interested:

I also remembered this from ctrl Paint:

I haven't watched it, so I'm not sure how in depth it is, though it sounds like it's right down fwaps alley.
The book Design Sketching really breaks down the ideation process. It's nice dealing only with the abstraction of a pencil and a piece of paper. Sometimes clearing your head and thinking things out away from the computer can lead to a more streamlined and organized approach to your creative process.
