Hey, guys. It's been a while since I made a thread for a character of mine but I figured this one needed one because of all the different images. I made my own version of my favorite character from the TMNT universe.
The shredder is 7300 triangles with a 1024x1024 texture. Hope you like it!
Nice work, Shredder was always my favorite from TMNT too. I think it would be cool if you gave him a more dynamic pose, rather than just his current pose with balled up fists.
Also, what made you stray from your concept in regards to the pants? I personally felt the bunching of the pants above the boots made sense and gave a bit more visual interest than the straight cylinder legs.
@artstream: Yeah, I just noticed the legs. I tried to reduce the polycount at one time and I think I removed the extra loops on the pants. As for the pose I actually wanted to use this pose. I admit it doesn't look very different from the bind pose but it was deliberate.
@Sectaurs: I'm having trouble understanding what you mean by shaded with black. I could go back and do changes though so please explain what you mean. I'll give it a try with 512
What Sectaurs means is that it looks like your shadows/dark areas were shaded with black, rather than a dark version of a supporting color. From what I've been learning/understanding, shading with black is a really bad thing to do.

Everything also seems to have the same specular levels - there's no real distinction between cloth, metal or skin.
I also think you could make this a 512 with no loss of quality.
