Everyone should be ready to start models soon. Be sure to get any other concepts done by your assigned dates. Post Model WIPS at significant inter-voles WITH wireframe on.
Current style test. Trying to balance the super grunge and painterly styles without a shader has been an interesting challenge.
One tactic I've been experiment with is having a dark purple take the place of where points of interesting in a sketch would be.
Really, really happy with how the tree's core turned out doing this.
Might try to add more accent and harsh shadows to the bark in the future.
Texture for this prop is 128x128.
