Maybe for the belt of leaves that fade at the front could do with more of a value step over what it has at the moment, more similair to the concept and puts it behind rather than a wierd fade of leaves.

LOVELY painting. What is the hi-poly sculpt for? Are you going to have a normal map as well? Or was it just for retopo?

^ Probably retopo, AO/shadowing for diffuse hand painted texture loving, but that is only my best guess.

Love your newest pieces man, much props to the concept artist though, did you by chance speak with him? & if so did he help you with your coloring?

Looking good, but nearly all pieces look floaty as there is no real shadowing or occlusion to connect things and give the illusion of depth, especially the orange leaves
and around the head area
