First Time Concept painting

Hello everybody,
So I decided to draw something for the first time in Photoshop, just to see if I like doing it, since I still don't know what field I wanna go into(environments, characters, concept....there just so many to choose from )Granted, I did use 3d in some places to get the perspective and shape right

I am still very much a noob I am hoping to get some guidance as of where I could improve this painting in terms of value balance and so on(I know that I really need to work on that pistol:D )

Nothing to say really, it looks good so far, maybe the groin piece is distorting slightly and the knee pads as well shoes are facing the wrong angle, but other then that, maybe posting more work will be better so we can pin-point which parts of a concept you have issues with.

Oh, also try and tighten up the details on it, the creases and folds on the cloth, while looking correct feel very...'floaty', almost ghost like.
