Hi guys, I have recently finished this character,This is a WW-II German Infantry guy, I have followed many refs for this guy, but not particular one. Hope you like.
Amazing sculpts. Definitely inspirational!
The only thing I noticed is that the buttons intersect with the leather straps, but I imagine the weight of the straps would push the buttons down in to the shirt? There's just something about that part of the sculpt slightly off. Everything else however is great.
Excuse me a minute I need to find my jaw, I appear to have dropped it somewhere!
More seriously this is some stunning work. The non soldier additions look like they were made to be printed! Will you be lowpoly/texturing these or even just painting them?
Thanks alot guys.:) Plyomet - yeah i about intersect, I didn't notice it untill i rendered, also there is some buckles are missing in the renders lol which i forgot to render. :P but now i am calling it's done, and working on some other personal characters.:poly121: ivanzu - I am not good at history of guns also as I said I have used many refs for this character, So i may possible wrong at many accessories i have added in this character. I was thinking both Luger pistol andbrowning 1928 was German's. but looks like (at wikki) browning 1928's origin is in Poland and Luger is still German. Vysuki- yup, they are for 3D print.:D (but yeah the Infantry character also has good enough mesh to get printed, if i ever want that or like bust.lol)
