I've been having fun doing these dota items as of late, none have gotten in but ill post some of my previous entries to give context to the thread, then follow it up with some current sketches and thoughts. oh additionally... DailyDouble is my steam name.

I really like the natures prophet set. It stands out nicely! I think the darkseer headpiece is too hard to distinguish from his face, but the shapes are great. Maybe It could be reworked as an ornamental thing?

If anyone has any feedback on the seer set at the moment it'd be greatly appreciated, I like some of the ideas but i feel like it might be missing something? Current direction for helmet

got new helmet in game, playing around with colors, haven't submitted the new version yet, better to let it set for a night or 2. I toned down the orange just a touch on the other pieces as well.

I think the back spikes are really cool from the character view, but I think it looks a little too uniform from the top game view. Maybe if you pulled the outer spikes forwards so that they don't line up so conveniently? The brass/gold is blending in with the orange metal on the bracer from up top too.

I just wanna say that every time I come to your thread I wonder why the Nature's Prophet set isn't in the game yet, it really came out nice ^^

New helmet is super cool

totally agree on the spikes, messed it around a little bit but its really not visible in game.

In the final that currently in WS the color on the trim of the armor has changed from the brass/gold to match the new helmet treatment, so the contrast there is much greater. (above images are a bit old)

@spudnik - thanks, it was a risk making NP gear I think, hes one of the oldest characters and still has some of the most items in the shop... I'm not particularly fond of many of them but many exist...

Man, I cant believe the stag set isnt in the game yet. its my favorite furion set. good job on that one.

Yeah, the sword came out great, the only suggestion I have is to make the scratches and dents bigger next time so that they don't get lost in the compression.

This angle is a bit odd to understand. to be fair I took some time to understand that was ursa~, but might be the angle.

As for details, I guess the ones in the head/horns are a bit small, maybe you should go for bigger shapes~

This is fantastic!

Personally I would give the wings a brighter touch, or maybe even make the feathers white for a better contrast. Just my personal 2 cents.

Really good job on the proportions!
