Scene description:
An armored ape-man escapes imprisonment through a jungle environment carrying a young elf child with enemies in pursuit.

I am imagining the setting is an extension of the Elder Scrolls series set in Valenwood.

I am a bit nervous entering this contest amid such professional work that I have seen so far, but sink or swim, I am diving into the deep end on this one.

I spent a few hours today making a weapon for the unnamed character above. It is inspired by an Aztec Macuahuitl.

Been awhile since an update. Began working on a few more characters while beginning hair on the ape-man. Not too sure how to do it properly, but I am giving it a shot.

I also began working on an environment. I am not an environment artist, but I am doing the best I can. Any suggestions would be helpful.







I have been bouncing around between different parts of my entry. I had no concept art of my own to work from, so I am making a lot of this up on the spot. Hopefully, I can finish some of these characters by the end of next week so I can begin rigging them.
