A few days ago I started modeling Gaige the Mechromancer from Borderlands 2, any comments would be appreciated before I unwrap it and put it in Zbrush, to see if there's anything to change to the modeling.. Hope you like it :P
looks cool man, definitely all the magic with the borderlands style happens when you get to texturing. I think currently you need to work on the proportions some more though. Perhaps you were planning on doing this in zbrush? Looks more cartoony then the borderlands style imo. Also, do you have any reference you are going off of?
Thanks, I'll probably work more on the proportions in 3ds max, I'll use zbrush only to sculpt a normal map to the character. I used the original mechromancer concept arts and screenshots from the game model as references.
